Enable setting a fix width of each column in a matrix

It is needed to be able to resize a column for all occurrences in a matrix. That is, not by dragging the size for each and every column value, but with setting a specific pt length in the visualization setup.

If the column values change, etc depending on a slicer selection, all resizing of columns stop working and the initial sizing of the column takes over. Therefore it needs to be possible to change the "initial size" of each column.

This is for example needed in cases where column titles are much wider that what the data values actually need - causing the column width to be set according to the title length(when it would be better to wrap the titles to two-three lines). Therefore the matrices look bad if it is not possible to size the columns according to plan.

I cannot understand why this feature is missing from Power BI, but it seems that setting column width in a table or matrix would be a great standard feature.

I agree, at times the tables and Matrices in Power BI look unprofessional as the widths are all over the place and continue to change unless you fix them and adjust them all manually. However if you do this and more data is added to the right you need to adjust the new column.

Include column header parameters to define fixed column size when the Auto-scale option is off, so that they are all uniform in the table, identical to the function in Excel under "Home > Format > Column width".

Be able to the lock the dimensions of a matrix visual to prevent the matrix from automatically resizing when a user filters it and prevent it from obscuring other elements of the report, Similar to what is available for Pivot tables in Excel. At present when a user makes selections from a slicer the Matrix Visual appears to jump randomly around the canvas as it resizes on selection.

This idea will be to add a functionality of making all table/matrix columns the same width and maybe a like box where we can choose the width pixels we want.

I agree with everyone else in this case. It is not an edge case. It is a basic function that exists in pretty much ALL Microsoft products except Power BI !!. We have it in Excel, Word/PowerPoint (Tables), Access, etc., etc. DEV PLEASE PRIORITIZE!
