Dynamic row-level security for Power BI Report Server

Power BI Desktop (optimized for Report Server) allows you to define roles with DAX filters. However, when reports are published to the Report Server, there is no way to assign these roles to specific users/groups, so we can't yet implement row-level security on the Report Server. It would be great it Report Server was able to support dynamic row-level security similar to the Power BI Service.

Please add RLS in Power-BI report server, and make sure it will work for embedded web application. Our organization is waiting for that...

Frankly I'm glad this isn't possible, because it led us to SSAS Models which is better in a lot of ways. That being said, if someone's org is not going with SSAS Models for good reasons, then I could see this as important

This is the main challenge for us in sharing our PowerBI dashboards at an enterprise level. We need to be able to prevent row level access. This would be an amazing feature to have!

In Europe, we have a new data protection law that is coming into force the 25th May 2018 (GDPR). We need to secure all reports - including Power BI ones - that include sensitive client data before then. Given the fact that SSAS roles are NOT recognised in Power BI report server , then we can't secure most of our reports.

This is just one of those features that makes a tool useful. Having deployed several projects via the 'service', I have had lots of clients who want to use the 'Report Server' solution. I finally acceded to this and so many features missing its shocking. You may as well call this another name.

Very much needed feature to save space and time/increase efficiency when it comes to sharing reports through onPremise servers. Would be fantastic to see it.
