Don't affect sparkline with page/visual filters

I have a matrix in which I can quickly find data over a given time period (by a calendar filter on the visual), which in my case is last week. In that same matrix I want to add a sparkline, but due to the visual filter, the sparkline only shows one data point (last week), which makes no sense. Ideally you'll have extra filtering options for the sparkline in the menu that pops up when you add them.

I am not sure I understand what you mean. If you add a sparkline for Date then you can select the Week and still show the sparkline for the days in that week. Can you clarify what you need please?
