While Fabric has been immensely integrated with most of the components of Data journey such as Data pipelines for Ingestion, Integration, Notebook processing and visualization, the missing component is Data Observability Task / job which plays a significant role.
The data observability checks during each processing layer are crucial to capture data quality issues at early stage; thereby saving vital time and efforts required for post facto analysis. Introduction of Data Observability feature for batch processing (i.e. other than Streaming datasets) data would provide lot of value to enterprises without needing to go for 3rd party product just for this requirement.
