Data driven chart colors

I would like to be able to assign a color value (hex code) from a data source field to a chart element. I would also like to be able to specify a comma delimited list of color codes from a data source for a chart object that has multiple series to use as the palette of colors across the series.

This would be very, very helpful. I feel like in Power BI there's a big wall between the data and the interface and none shall talk to each other. Techniques like this are common in other technologies, particularly scripting technologies.

Particularly interested in data driven data colors. The scenario is that in a competitive analysts we have a standard palate defined roughly by organization logo colors. Its hard to make reports consistent, but we could put hex codes in our organization table if we could drive it by this fields rather than hard coding.

Not just colors, though. Data-driven styling should be a standard. For line charts, I want to control the color and the line style (solid, dotted, dashed) for each series.
