Dataflows seem like a great way to centrally distribute curated content to citizen developers. But sadly, we won't be using them for that or anything else since there's no Excel integration. Despite the popularity of Power BI, most analyses still end up in Excel. The related idea (https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=c472a0fa-e161-4fb5-8384-b9f63d282d68) shows complete, but I don't think this is the case.

I totally agree with this. We should be able to connect from Excel to dataflows, to give our end-users a single source to get their validated data.

I'd like to understand why the previous post says it was completed. Is it done and just not rolled out? Is there an ETA? Or was the admin misunderstanding the ask?

This is a must since most data receivers of curated datasets are not familiar with Power BI and more with Excel.

How comes this is not implemented yet ??? In february microsoft said this feature would be released in March update... Then wasn't... Now I see that the idea shows "complete" (https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=c472a0fa-e161-4fb5-8384-b9f63d282d68) when it is absolutely not the case. Not professional... the whole community is waiting for this must have feature
