Without this feature it is going to take months to get my dataset. This improvement would speed up the time I can bring my manager valuable reports!

This is very critical to our business since the data inside our Access is sensitive (HR) and cannot be released with a valid user password.

Just wanted to add a workaround for those who still need this. You can create an ODBC connection to your access database (just search ODBC in your start menu) then use the following string in a query to connect: Source = Odbc.DataSource("arbitraryname, pwd=yourpassword;dsn=ODBCConnectionName", [HierarchicalNavigation=true])

Why are Microsoft showing such poor support of their excellent Access database? Power BI couldn't even connect to the latest version (e.g. Office 365/Office 2016) without having to load the 2010 database engine distributable.

Please add the possibility. I was working with it, then I put the password on the access and I cannot use powerbi anymore.
