Hi All,
We use the Analyze in Excel functionality all the time in our business and one problem keeps coming up: When I add a new measure to a Dataset/Semantic model the new measure doesn't show up when using an excel file that had been previously connected to that dataset. The user has to make a new connection and rebuild their pivots if they want to use the new measure.
Has anyone else encountered this, and is there a workaround/fix besides having to rebuild something in excel every time a new measure is added and you want to use it?

Hi @cebyweiman
The issue you're experiencing is a known limitation when using the "Analyze in Excel" feature in Power BI. When a new measure is added to a Power BI dataset, Excel doesn't automatically update to include this new measure in existing pivot tables or pivot charts. This is because the pivot table's cache doesn't refresh in the same way as it does within Power BI Service.
