I made a report in PowerBI Dekstop with a datasource to an onpremise SQL database. Renew the data is not any problem.
After publishing to PowerBI there are a few visuals that give the message "Can't open the visual element.
Somethimes direct after publishing it is good, but after de scheduled refresh it gives the error.
Same problem ... this is a screenshot and first message included
Some of my colleagues don't have this problem, some of them do.
How can we solve this?
Hi @Anonymous,
Could you please elaborate more details about your scenario and post screenshot about the above error message? We need to know the type of these problem visuals and if you use any measures in these visuals.
Additionally, please re-publish these reports to Power BI Service and use different web browsers to check if the error message still occurs.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Hello everone,
I think the visuals aren't difficult. They show a graphic with a filter. Some data has a calculated column as source
I tried to delete the report in PowerBi Services en published it again.
Also i tried to made a new page with the visuals
Hi there,
I am facing similar issues with Users located over Asian regions. Here in Europe the reports are showing visuals and data correctly, but when a user located in Asia tries, the report provides the same error "Couldn't load data to display the visual".
To be said that I am using DirectQuery Mode for the generation of those reports. When using Import Mode the users, no matter where they are located, can see perfectly everything.
For now, some Network tests are being run inside the company, but they literally are hitting a wall here. I wonder if it is related to AAS connection that are running over Azure services and it is affecting certain locations...
Hi @Anonymous,
What web broswer do you use? Please use different web broswers and check these calculated columns in your data source.
In addition, would you mind sharing me the PBIX file? I will test it in my Desktop and Service.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
