Weird Refresh Error

This refresh error is weird, because the function causing the error doesn't feature in any of the M code !

(At least, not in the M code in the desktop pbix file that designed this report.)

Any ideas?

@TomTomTom - Looks like you are trying to add an Index column in that code. For some reason, I recall this exact error happening to someone else when they were trying to add an Index column. Can you post your Advanced Editor code?

If I recall, dropping the newly added 5th parameter should fix it. So, drop the ", number" part when adding the index.

Hi Greg

thanks and yes you are right - dropping the optional 5th argument in the index step removes the error.

seems like a bug at the Microsoft end then ??
