Hello,
Something strange is going on in an app I created for my team. Here is what my date slicer looks like in my PBI report that is pinned to a dashboard in my app:
However, in the app itself on the dashboard here is what my users see:
As you can see, the users lose the drag-able slicer as well as the ability to input any dates. Seems like if you click on the pinned page frame to navigate to the page in the report and then return to the dashboard, it updates and works but from a UX POV for my non-technical users, that work around isn't the best option.
Anyone have any ideas whats going on here and how to fix?

Same problem for me as well
Hi, @ScrubberKing @Anonymous
You should pin a live page to the dashboard, because a simple date slicer can't pin to dashaboard, Right?
Has your desktop version been updated? What's the version?
I tested it in my environment and no error like yours occurred. Not sure if it is a data type problem.
Can you provide a sample file(Contain only the date and part of sample data)? So that we can use your sample to test, there may be a breakthrough.

I have not been able to determine what this problem is. Dashboards worked for quite some time. Suddenly, this week I am getting the same date slicer error as ScrubberKing. No answers yet from POWER BI staff or users. Please help. All slicers are down in all of my dashboards on the service but are working perfectly in POWER BI Desktop reports. Strange.
Just bumping this. Looks liek it is affecting others in my organization with apps so maybe this is a PowerBI issue beyond just my dashboards.

Thank you so much for looking into this. My group receives the subscription email showing the dashboard graphic correctly. The date slicer shows up correctly in the email dashboard graphic. Once the dashboard is opened using the email link to the service, the date slicer disappears. Hope this additional info helps. Thank you again. Best regards, memairport, Dave
