Hi Experts,
We are trying to automate few things using tabular editor and powershell.
Can someone help with connect command to a premium workspace's dataset ? we have tried with the below, but not working, so something is wrong . Not able to get a proper example around -
$p = Start-Process -filePath C:\Users\ks\Documents\TabularEditor.Portable\TabularEditor.exe -Wait -NoNewWindow -PassThru `
-ArgumentList "`"Provider=MSOLAP;Data Source=powerbi://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/<worksapce name> <Dataset Name>`""
and few other combinations with ` and " .... but seems not working (either error message on invalid syntax or nothing loads in Tabular editor in case of the given example).
I know this is quite basic and I am embarrased 😕
Hi @Krishanu,
If you would like to connect to the dataset in Premium workspace, you may consider XMLA endpoints with Tabular Editor.
You need enable read-write permission for the Premium capacity and you need connect with the connection URL.
For more details, you could refer to Dataset connectivity and management with the XMLA endpoint in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Docs.

@v-cazheng-msft these initial checks are already done and we are trying to use powershell options with tabular editor with power bi xmla endpoint - https://docs.tabulareditor.com/te2/Command-line-Options.html
Although command line works , but couldn't figure out the powershell way of doing it as mentioned in the original post above. I hope it's clear now.
