Sharepoint schedule refresh error

Hi Team,

We have a team using sharepoint as datasource and using gateway they are scheduling report refresh. The refresh runs fine sometime , but most of the times it gives the below error. This is very intermittent. Is there any fix for this ?

Hi mpesara,

Please check if the gateway service is always running on your server and also update your gateway to the lastest version.

I monitor out gateway time to time and its always running fine . For my info how does upgrading the gateway help ?
