I have a user who created a Power BI Report using the "Visualize the List" option for a SharePoint list. The report does work when inside the SP List page.
However, when I take the link to use it within a Workspace App, it only shows the Power BI icon in the report and will not load. There are no error messages other than the "!" in the upper left hand corner as it's loading.
I use the "Add a link" option and used it when in the "Edit link" screen.
Not sure what to do with this one and any ideas would be great.

Hi @arock-well,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.
Reports created using "Visualize the List" in SharePoint are not standard Power BI reports and are designed to work only within SharePoint. Power BI Workspace Apps only support reports that exist within a workspace, external links to SharePoint-based visualizations will not load properly.
So convert the SharePoint-generated report into a full Power BI report and publish it properly. Please follow below steps:
The report will now load correctly inside the Power BI Workspace App because it is properly stored in a Power BI workspace.

Hi. I'm not sure what is exactly that you are doing. It looks like adding a report link in a tile or section app. You can't do that. The "i" is specifying that adding the link there won't work. If you want a report to be part of a power bi app, then you need to keep the report in the workspace you are using to create de App. You can't add reports from a workspace to another App Workspace. Can you define the requirement so we can help you move forward with a solution? maybe what you want is possible but not in the way you are showing here.
I hope that helps,
Happy to help!

I'm copying the link of a Power BI report a user created within a SharePoint list via the "Visualize the List" option and then trying to use that within a Workspace App for users to view.
