Scheduler Not Working

Greetings,

I have several apps published to a workspace. I successfully configured a gateway to the SQL Server database I used.

When I installed the gateway, I got a warning to "make sure to install on a computer that is always on line". I thought they were referring to the server source. I proceeded to the end of the gateway configuration and tested it withou any problems.

Long story short: When my pc is on line, I am able to refresh the dataset sucessfully . Otherwise, I get an error saying that  the gateway is off line. When I go check up scheduled updates, they are all "disabled".

It does not make sense to me. I made a conection to the sql database but my computer has to be online for the scheduler to work?

Did I get something wrong or have I misunderstood some concept here? My account is not "pro" yet. I am currently on pro trial.

Yes,the computer has to be online for the scheduler to work.For further,please refer to below posts.
