Scheduled update failure

Hello community!

 

During a scheduled update I receive this error message:

{"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_UnknownError","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_UnknownError","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorMessage","detail":{"type":1,"value":"Impossibile caricare il file o l'assembly 'Microsoft.PowerBI.AdomdClient, Version=15.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' o una delle relative dipendenze. Impossibile trovare il file specificato."}},{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingHResult","detail":{"type":1,"value":"-2147024894"}}]}}} Table: italy_cities.

 

Note that the Table quoted can be sometime "italy_cities" or another. But I didn't think the problem is in one of the table of the Data sey.

 

I have many other report with the same configuration and access but this is the only one that give me problems.

 

If I update from the pBI desktop all thing goes right. But when try to update with scheduled timetable I catch everytime the above error. Can someone help me in solving this issue??

the reported issue appears to be solved now.

 

My on promises gateway installed was the May2020 release (3000.40.15). I have seen that it was available a new release: June2020 (3000.45.7) so I updated the gateway version. After that the problem seem to have been overcome!

 

I can't understand why the others reports was updating without problems and the specific one don't. But the most important thing now is that all is functinating!!

Hi there

Can you make sure that the Gateway can connect to the URL?

And also make sure that the Key or Tokens used are valid and can successfully connect?

Thanks for the reply Gilbert!

 

I had tested from the gateway every diagnosis tool available and they all pass!

 

How I can control if key or tokens are successfull with the connection? There are other diagnosis tool I can use??

If you keep getting these errors with refreshes I'd suggest opening a support ticket.
