Schedule refresh

Hi,
I'm trying to set up a scheduled refresh for my report in Power BI.
However, it appears that I don’t have the necessary access. Could you help me clarify what the issue might be?

Hi @HCJ2026

Do you own the model?
WHen you go to the model settings, at the top it tells you who the model has been configured by. Is that showing your email? If not, you need to take ownership of it before you can configure it.

Hello @HCJ2026

The issue is usually related to permissions, gateway setup, or data source credentials. Make sure you have access to the workspace, the dataset owner permissions, and a configured gateway if your data source is on-premises. Also verify that all data source credentials are signed in correctly under Dataset Settings → Data Source Credentials. If the refresh option is disabled, you may need Pro/Premium workspace access or admin permission from your Power BI administrator.
