Hi Guys,
I am new to Power BI and want to design and automate a monthly portfolio report.
I have downloaded an excel sheet containing the data and uploaded on Power BI.
I have filtered the columns I need from the excel sheet using the "Filter Column" tab.
Q. How do I choose specific (red) rows that I need from the sheet and delete others? Note: I need the entire row (Asset Tree + Market Value)
Looking forward to seeking your help!
Thank you lbendlin
Hi, @parthkwatra17
You can do this in the filter panel, here's a screenshot:
Result as follow:

That data is not in a usable format. You need to transform it before youcan load it into Power BI.
Power BI is not Excel. Don't try to make it behave like Excel.
Hi, I know it's not excel and I am seeking assistance on transforming the data only. While I managed to "choose colums", I want assistance for choosing specific "rows" and run an automation.
