Report refresh failure due to an OAuthToken refresh error

Hello,

My report has been acitve and refreshed daily for many months. But it started failing to fresh since 3/13 due to a DMTS_OAuthTokenRefreshFailedError.

On the settings webpage of the report, in the "Data source credentials" section, when clicking the "Edit credentails" link, I cannot find OAuth in the "Authentication method" drop-down list.

I vagully remembered OAuth was there and was selected. Is there any OAuth related update recently? How can I fix the refresh failure? Thanks a lot.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks a lot for the suggested solutions. I think the root cause is on the PowerBI service side, not on the report configuration. To circle back, the issue has been fixed now - OAuth is re-apprear in the "Authentiction method" drop-down, although I don't know how it is fixed on service side.

Hi, @Zhou

Here are a few solutions you can try:
1. Check if your web connection authentication method and credentials have expired.

2. Reconfigure your web connection

3. Tick the Skip test connection option and configure the link. This scheme comes from another case:
