Hi
We are using a Power BI report as a live dashboard with auto refresh every 5 minutes (sorry for the Norwegian screen shot).
We recently experimented with using the filter query string parameters in the URL to give the user direct access to their department (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-url-filters), but then the automatic refresh of the report page stopped working.
Is this a bug? Expected behavior? Anything we can do to still keep the automatic refresh even though we are using the filter query string parameteres in the URL?
PS! If anyone has a solution for automatically hiding the filter pane and also show the report in full screen mode, that would be brilliant!
Thanks in adavance!
Aleks
Hi @Anonymous
Do you mean using query string parameters in the URL in the report with Automatic page refresh set, so that Automatic page refresh does not take effect ?

Yes. The report has automatic page refresh set to every 5 minutes, but when using query string parameters in the URL the automatic refresh stops working. If I open the report directly from powerbi.com not using the URL with query string paramteres, the automatic refresh works as normal.
