I'm looking to consolidate several short reports into one larger report then include that into a published app. I'm concerned that if 1 data source fails to refresh, it will cause the other pages in the report to not update as well and possibly the entire app.

How do data refresh failures impact other pages in a report (with different data sources) and the application as a whole?

If your app consists of different reports and these reports have different datasources, if any of the refersh for a report fails which is a part of an app than the whole app would not fail, it will be just that report whose data wont be refreshed or result in an error and the rest of the report will work fine.

if a single report has multiple pages and has multiple data sources, if one of the data source fail to refresh only that page/visual in the report which is linked to that failed datasource will give the outdated data or an error.
