Hi everyone,
I have some datasets published to Power BI Service which include python scripts in the Power Query. Currently, I'm using Personal Gateway to refresh the datasets.
I would like to know if there's any way to get rid of the Personal Gateway method, and refresh the dataset directly?
e.g. setting up Azure Virtual Machine?
Fyi, my dataset is connecting to Azure's Cosmo DB (with Mongo API), in which it's currently not supported by Power BI.
Thanks in advance.

Hi. I'm sorry but Python Script must use a Personal Gateway. Even if you move to an Azure Virtual Machine. You need to install the gateway and python in there.
The only way to remove the personal is removing the python script. Using Power Query to make the transformation. Maybe this post can help you with that https://blog.ladataweb.com.ar/post/616019888350314496/power-query-pandas-and-sql-to-m
I hope this helps,
