REST API Gateway Datasource user role issue

When calling the REST API to get list of gateway data source users, the datasourceAccessRight always returned as a "Read" role, even if user has Owner or User with resharing permissions on the data source.

HI , @Anonymous

According to the REST API official API document , the "datasourceAccessRight" reponse field has just three value:

vyueyunzhmsft_0-1690508415763.png

So even though the user is admin or user with reshare permission, it will retrun the "Read".

And for more information, you can refer to :

Embed a report on an on-premises SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Thank you for your time and sharing, and thank you for your support and understanding of PowerBI!
