Hi All,
I was wondering if you can help me, we recently started making Power Bi Report Builder Reports where I work and I included a URL in a table of the paginated report. When I load the report in Report builder locally, the URL works, and it works if I put the URL into Power bi desktop and a power bi desktop report. However when I click the link in the paginated report in a power bi workspace I get the following error:
code":"InternalError","subCode":0,"message":"Internal error ApiException.Unauthorized","timeStamp":"2021-11-15T16:21:31.8911567Z","httpStatusCode":401,etc.
The link is to microsoft projects. Does anyone know how to resolve this?
Many Thanks,
Mark
From the service, the request to an external URL does not use authentication. The URL your are accessing in Microsoft Projects probably requires a valid user to access the file? I think it needs to be anonymous access for the URL to work.
I'm having similar issue but its when the report exported to work and user tried to click on the hyperlink, that's when we're getting this issue.
I've posted a new thread but was flagged as spam. I would appreciate if mod could un-flag as I need help.
We are in the midst of BI upgrade and doing product evaulation. I overseeing if all the business requirements will be satisfied. I have a few threads here and most them are un-answered and 1 got flagged.

Hi, @MarkPHarris1 ;
401 Unauthorized
client error status response code indicates that the client request has not been completed because it lacks valid authentication credentials for the requested resource.
