If I create a report with a table visualization based on a push data (not streaming) set and then pin only this table to a dashboard, will the dashboard update automatcially when new data is pushed? Similar question for the report itself? I've read through the documenation but it's not clear to me. Also, it's not clear how and if desktop power BI works with push data sets.
Solved! Go to Solution.
From my experience you can connect to the dataset from Power BI Desktop but it will be a live connection - with all the limitiations that come with that.
Dashboard tiles will update automatically when new data is pushed in. Reports will not - they require user interaction, or you need to set up automatic page refresh
