Issue with Dataflow Incremental Refresh

Hi All,

We are using Gen1 Dataflows for our project and recently we got to see some abnormality. A dataflow has 5 tables and 3 tables are configured with incremental refresh. Full Refresh has been completed and incremental was running from past 2 days. But today we have seen that Dataflow refresh has failed due to server issue. when we trigger the next refresh, we see that out of 3 tables which has to go for incremental refresh , 2 tables has gone for full refresh and displayed all partitions and one table performed incremental refresh asusual.

I am not sure what would be the reason for this. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks,

Hi @vamshikrishna20

I suggest you do the following to diagnose and fix the issue:

  1. Check the dataflow refresh history for partition resets.
  2. Verify date/time columns for schema or type changes.
  3. Confirm query folding is active in Power Query.
  4. Review source system logs for disruptions.

Then, run a full refresh manually to reset partitions. Let me know what you find.

Did it work? 👍 A kudos would be appreciated
