Hi, I've had a problem for a month or so. When I log in to the desktop app it asks me to log in, having to go through my company MFA. As soon as everything has been accepted for log in the pop up comes again and it is a never ending cycle. It is not an issue with our MFA, we have checked that but i'm still not getting in.
I do the boxes checked for onedrive sharing, no difference. Thanks,
Kerr
Hi @Kerr ,
For the issue you describe, you need to contact the administrator to change the settings on your account.
After logging into Microsoft 365 admin center, select multifactor authentication for the administrator account.
On this page you can see the specific settings for your account.

Ah, is disabling the MFA the only way to deal with this? My organisation will not disable it.
what method are you using to link, as in what url do you use?

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean? I use the desktop Power BI app and get the microsoft log in pop up. That then takes me to my organisations MFA log in. When I complete these processes we go back to a new microsft pop up to log that continues on an everlasting loop. I can't open any files I have created or start any new work on it.
Hi @Kerr ,
Generally, you will encounter errors when trying to log in in powerbi destkop. There are two main causes of login problems: proxy authentication errors and non-HTTPS URL redirection errors.
You can troubleshoot this as documented below.

Also, see if there is a login issue similar to the following? If not, please provide some screenshots and describe them.
