I'm facing a credentials error while setting up automatic refresh for my dataset in Power BI. The database is connected via a OneDrive link shared by another user through the web. After loading the data and preparing the dashboard, I published the report to the Power BI service. However, when I attempt to enable the automatic refresh, I receive a credentials error, and I'm also getting email notifications indicating that the refresh has failed. If anyone could clarify or resolve the issue, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

Hey @Sanpriya ,
I think that you will have to have the userid that is doing the refresh to be shared directly, by name, at least READ access to that file. And, in Power BI, I have found that the actual file link is what you need for the service to properly run, not just a shared link.

Hi @collinq ,
Thank you for your response. I also appreciate the clarification regarding the use of the actual file link in Power BI. Thanks again for the helpful insight!
