We are looking to extract metadata and statistcs beyond usage from the PBI Service - for example, what are sources and connection types for datasets, which reports use which datasets, which datasets use which gateways, the size of imported datasets, the size of app workspaces, refresh logs of dataset, etc. This is available by looking at individual object settings, but is this data available to be extracted, probably through a PowerShell script?

Based on my research, there is no such a functionally to export those metedata currently. If you have any concern on this feature, you can submit your idea on the link below. If this feature was mentioned by mulitple users, product team will consider to add this feature to next release.
