Add Python refresh to a personal gateway

Hi, 

I have a data model using some SQL data which I am refreshing using the company gateway they installed. 

I have made a new report using some python.

I have downloaded a personal gateway (personal mode) and I have published the report online. 

I cannot set up the schedule refresh. I am using the same gateway version as the company gateway. 3000.254.3

The company gateway automatically tries to add python to it, which is why it says it is not configured properly. 

These are my error message. Any solutions?

I found another solution to this:

when installing Python, ensure to do custom installation and install it on to the local C drive of the computer. Install all libraries into the same C drive. 

Power BI service can access this to perform the refresh.

Thank you, yes it looks like it is trying to use the Enterprise Gateway. 

Is there any way I can force it to use my personal gateway?

Please give it a try 

• Go to the Power BI Service and locate your dataset.
• Navigate to Settings > Datasets > Gateway Connection.
• Ensure that the personal gateway is selected for the dataset. If it defaults to the enterprise gateway, deselect it and manually choose your personal gateway

Python scripts cannot be executed through an Enterprise Gateway. Power BI Service only supports Python scripts for scheduled refresh when using the On-premises Data Gateway (Personal Mode). This is a known limitation, as the Enterprise Gateway does not support custom script execution like Python.

The Power BI Service might attempt to associate your dataset with the Enterprise Gateway, which does not support Python, leading to errors like “not configured properly
