SAP BW Connectivity Issue

Hi all,

Trying to connect to my SAP BW server and am getting the following error message (connection is closed) - any ideas??

Hi @rjm900,

1. Did you write the MDX query when you connect to the SAP BW? If it is, please remove the query.

2. Was the Power BI desktop installed on the same computer which hosted SAP BW? Please try to install the desktop on the same server, then connect to SAP BW.

3. Please try to use the latest Power BI desktop version.

4. Contact your SAP BW administrator and let him monitor the connection between client app and SAP BW. Check if any other app can connect to SAP successfully.

Thanks for your response. In answer to your questions:-

1. No MDX query used

2. Same computer

3. Latest version used

4. Need to check with our Admin

How about the result after consult the SAP BW administrator? Did only the Power BI desktop have issues, or another apps also can't get data?
