Hello All -
Is it possible to connect to an RSS feed? I'd like to make use of the Bank of Canada exchange rates, which are available as a daily feed http://www.bankofcanada.ca/stats/assets/rates_rss/closing/en_all.xml
Thanks very much!
Travis
Solved! Go to Solution.
Look to the right on the columns and click on the two little arrows, then expand. You may have to do this several times to get to the data you want. Your mileage will vary depending on how the web page/feed is formatted.
You want to use "From Web" as in this video:
Your link no longer works BTW, you probably want:
http://www.bankofcanada.ca/stats/assets/rates_rss/closing/en_all.xml
Thanks very much for this, however I'm guessing that the information on that RSS page is not structured in a way that Power BI can interpret it. I only get an HTML document, with Kind, Element and Text as tables.

That looks like a really horribly formatted RSS feed btw, I tried a couple others like one from Wired magazine and such and they come in a LOT cleaner.
I was able to pull data with this weblink but not RSS. http://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/alertswarnings.html
I used web and it was okay but not sexy...
