I am looking for advice on the best setup to do the following:
We want to use power bi to push our marketing promotions into sql server. For example the marketing promotion will include a coupon amount for different levels of customers:
Marketing Name: November promotion
Promotion Start Date: 11/1/22, 12:00 am
Promotion Expiration Date: 11/30/22, 12:00 am
Elite $50 coupon
Gold $25 coupon
Silver $10 coupon
Every customer in the sql database that is Elite receives a $50 coupon. For example Customer A is an Elite customer.
We should be able to see in the sql database:
November Promotion, Customer 1, $50, 11/1/22 12:00 am, 11/30 /22, 12:00 am
November Promotion, Customer 2, $50, 11/1/22 12:00 am, 11/30 /22, 12:00 am
November Promotion, Customer 3, $10, 11/1/22 12:00 am, 11/30 /22, 12:00 am
What I envision is one sql table with all the customer offers
Note we already have a customer table that includes customer number (unique identifer) and their promotion level. We have approximately 20,000 customers that will receive each promotion.
Ideally we would like our marketing manager to do this through the Power BI service rather than the desktop. I have watched some videos on using Power apps but am looking for the most efficient and easiest way to do this. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Hi @slschmidt - it is not recommended to use Power BI or Power Query to write data to database. I would suggest using a Power App to push data to a dataverse table. Simply crate the app form and make it available to the users within Power BI
