Is it possible to use drillthrough in a Power BI Custom Visual?
If so, could you please provide a snippet of your visual.ts file to show how it's to be used? I've been searching for documentation on it and nothing has turned up - I'm beginning to think its not available for developers yet and only for the official visuals provided by Power BI.
Thank you!

I don't think that Power BI Custom Visuals API supports drillthrough feature.
We'll update once it's supported by API.

Hi,
Any updates/progress yet made on this?
Thanks!
It's been in the SDK for a while (as of API 2.2) - if you have an eligible drillthrough page then the context menu API will display it as an option. Note that Power BI determines the contents of the context menu; you can only supply the x/y coordinates and associated data point (if applicable).

This feature is on our backlog. We'll change status of this idea and release a blog post once it's ready.

Looking for this support as well. Have voted but a sense of the priority on the backlog for this request would be helpful.
It's still on backlog. Please keep voting to emphasize the importance.

Are there any work arounds to this? Thank you.

@v-viig Less than three weeks ago, you said "It's still on backlog. Please keep voting to emphasize the importance." -- and now we see the feature going live in a blogpost? Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled that it's already done (or near done). But as a community moderator, I would have expected that you'd have told us "this is currently in development and is being released next month." We rely on accurate information from the Power BI team in order to be successful. In this case we had a project that really needed this feature, and if we had been able to incorporate an early build it could have made a significant difference for our client.
Any progress on this?
It's on our backlog.
We'll update once it's implemented and released.

It would be really nice if we had lots of control over what drill through targets the menu shows. In a large report, the drill through menu is too cluttered with every possibility, some are nonsensical.
Hi,
Allthough this has nothing to do spicifically with custom visuals, you can however control which drill throughs are visible on what visuals.
This can be done by creating a unique field and placing this in the visual where you want to drill through and as the drill through filter on the drill through page.
Other visuals that don't have this specific field will not show that specific drill through page.
This works fine in my apps.

Hello @firstredpepper,
I'm not sure that this feature is supported by Power BI Custom Visuals API.
You can take a look at Drilldown documentation.
