I have a program that automatically refreshes certain Datasets using the API. It has been running just fine for over a year, until I just added two Datasets whose source is a Sharepoint List. Up until then, all of my Datasets used SQL Server as their data soure. Since adding them, the attempt to refresh the Sharepoint Datasets has been failing on and off with the following error:
The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.
At first, I thought it was a permanent issue with one of the Datasets and the solutions I attemtped appeared to solve the problem, but then the problem came back the next day, and it wasn't until I just let it ride for a while that I found out the error just randomly occurs. Sometimes it will work for both Datasets, sometimes it will fail for both Datasets, and sometimes it will only fail for one of the two Sharepoint Datasets. Sometimes it fails and then works again an hour later. Sometimes it fails for a few hours straight.
Does anyone know what might cause this and how to get rid of it?
Did you find a solution? I'm experiencing the same issue.
