Question about a filter/visual

Hey,

Ive got a few rapports with multiple pages and they keep asking me if it's possible if you have one filter set on page 1 that the same filter also applies for page 2, 3 etc

So my question is if that is possible ? is it possible to set a 'Smart Filter' a dropdown  on page 1 so that the same filter applies on the other pages ?

Hello,

This is possible. You are able to sync slicers across all pages if necessary. If you do not want those slicers visible on pages 2, 3, etc., you would simply need to uncheck the visibility button in the "Sync Slicers" setting. (View > Sync Slicers).

It would look something like this:

Hope this helps!

It doesn't help, im sorry 🙂

I use the Smart filter, that is a type of visual simulair to a dropdown menu.

The slicer doesn't get me what i need.

I use a filter option (per page) that selects Project A or B but on page 2 i have to select the same project again as i did on page 1

@v-cherch-msft that did the trick.

With the type of visual i was using it didn't work but got the same result with the standard slicer set to dropdown
