The problem is not yet been solved.
This is very simple to query
I am using Power BI Matrix and I have data (customer ID) to column
and Customer Name to Row
in field I have sales values.
Then I upload this table to Power Bi service and then from power bi service I export this Matrix as xlsx form using summarize but after exported Rows are in rows but column (customer ID) comes to Rows as well.
its not in Tabuler form. I also have given a screen shot to understand. and this is really interesting that microsoft has power bi product and MS Office (Excel) product but they dont have this facility to export Power BI Matrix data to Excel (.xlsx) as tabular form. Other side Qlik Sense has this option.
For you understand I again paste matrix table here and when you export this in excel (xlsx) column value goes to row wise
Hi @abc_777
The export to excel functionality just exports the raw data that is used in the visual not export the Power BI visual directly. If you want to use matrix in Excel, try to get data from Power BI Dataset in Excel and then build a Matrix in Power View. You just need to build your Matrix once in Excel, then your end user can refresh the data in Excel manually.

@abc_777
Currently, there is no option to export data as you see in the visuals. you have two options Summary and Details. Summary exports in the summarized tabular format. you can vote for this option at https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/

but data camoes as raw data not tabular form.
following view is matrix in power bi desktop version and then i upload it so power bi service
download it as excel file as summarize and all column become rows and rows are also rows. there is no column. so what would be the solusion to give report to seniors as tabular form or as same as power bi desktop matrix form? please assist
@abc_777
If you want to share the reports with the management, you have two options: either you can purchase a Power BI Pro license ($9.99) for each user and share it with them on the powerbi.com (service) which will allow them to interact with reports. Another option is to Export as PDF and email them.

so no way to export as tabular form that i stated in my previous reply.
but interestingly from Qlik Sense I can export as tabular form. so question is why not microsoft keep the same tabular form export to their own power bi product and MS excel
Yes I can share report using power bi service but some time we need tabular form excel report. thats why my interest is.
it is really surprising that microsoft dont keep the export within their own product where as Qlik sens do
is there any chance that microsoft will update there power bi service or excel so we can export data from power bi service in MATRIX (Rows and Column wise) format to excel. sme time its really need to export for a clear tabuler form to see and edit or to present external. as these two products (Power BI and MS Excel) both owned by Microsft they should have this export in taruler format. where on other side Qlik Sense has this facility. So please to upgrade system or do something so we have this facility.
thanks
