The automatic refresh for my report is failing and gives the error "Microsoft SQL: Execution Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.". The query is running successfully on MSSMS and there are around 3 million records. Urgent help needed.

Which data source you connected to?What's your connection mode?Whether it can be refreshed normally in the desktop or whether it can be refreshed normally by using ‘refresh now’ in the service.

Are you transforming something using Power Query ? Or even using duplicate/referencing any query ?
Yes, we are duplicating the records and pivoting the columns
You can try increasing the timeout option:
