Hello community, I face the following issue:
I have a semantic model as data source connected in direct query. I try to create the following column on it. No error when creating the measure but an erro when I integrate in in a table to see the result:
Column (dax) :
test = CALCULATE(MAX(F_PRICE_EVOLUTION[date]), D_PURCHITEM[TK] = EARLIEST(F_PRICE_EVOLUTION[TK]))
Data set sample:
| TK | date |
1 | 2024/02/05 |
| 2 | 2023/01/03 |
| 3 | 2024/04/03 |
| 3 | 2023/01/01 |
| 2 | 2023/05/01 |
| 1 | 2023/02/02 |
| 2 | 2024/04/02 |
I want to create a column that will have the max date for each tk value. Ex the new column should have 2024/02/05 for tk = 1, 2024/04/02 for tk = 2 and 2024/04/03 for tk = 3.
No issue when I create this dax expression but when I insert it to see in a table there is an error saying:
the result set of a query on an external data source has exceeded the maximum allowed size Any idea on how to achieve that easily ?
Thanks in advance
