Database not refreshing when Windows Machine is shut down, need help

MySql Database is stored on AWS server, we have installed Enterprise gateway on a local windows machine,

If we shut down the local windows machine we get the message

Failed Your data gateway is offline or couldn't be reached. 

How to set up the "Automatic Refresh" that it should work without a local windows machine switched-on, please help

If you have access to the AWS server then better install the Gateway on premises.

Not sure you would be able to do that! maybe use another machine for it. Check out this threads and Link, see if it could help

It is required that your machine is on when the refresh is happening. It is better if you install your gateway on some EC2 machine or on-premise server which is always on.

Query, is it possible to generate any non-local connections? That way we avoid that the PC always has to be turned on.....

but using the following link you can create an EC2 instance

and confirm with infrastructure people, that's its in your network

Thens its just windows machine.
