Bookmark navigator as a drop down list

Hi all!
It would be very convenient to display the bookmarks navigator not only as buttons, but also as a drop-down list. 
It happens that there are a lot of bookmarks and it is not always convenient to display them in the form of buttons

Would really like to see this happen.  There seems to be plenty of demand for this functionality out there.
