I installed Microsoft 365 Usage Analytics in Power BI and it works fine. I proceeded to add to "TEAMS".
Good news... it works for me and one other person. Bad news, it does not work for others... just a blank screen.
- Yes, each of the users is Power BI Pro user.
- Yes, each user is a "report reader" on the data
- One user can view on line, but not within Teams.
Yes "da Boss" wants it in Teams... and it does not work for him! (Ugh)... I've come up dry on a solution.
I don't remember exactuly what we did to get it to work (all this happened right before the world hit the pause button) and I am revisiting this now. All ideas welcome.
Hi @ppatterson ,
You have to be either a Global admin, Exchange admin, Skype for Business admin, SharePoint admin, Global reader or Report reader in order to establish the connection to the template app. See About admin roles for more information.
You need a Power BI Pro license to share your content, and the people you share it with do too, or the content needs to be in a workspace in a Premium capacity.
This initiates the data collection process and will complete in 2 to 48 hours depending on the size of your tenant. The Go to Power BI button will be enabled (no longer gray) when data collection is complete.
You may refer to the document to learn more about the steps of enabling Microsoft 365 usage analytics, also may go through the trouble by the link: Troubleshooting Microsoft 365 usage analytics.

Amy... thank you for the quick reply.
The users are Power BI Pro and Report Reader on the 365 Analytics. They can view this on line, but only SOME of us can use withing MS Teams.
In MS Teams, they can see our custom apps (internal business), but not the 365... it's just a blank page.
