schedule output sharepoint still sends an email

following the instructions here

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/deliver-report-subscriptions-to-onedrive-sharepoint-preview...

I set up a schedule to save a PDF of a report everyday to at SharePoint folder, however the subscriptions insists on me entering an email address and so I get an email each day with a link to the SharePoint page. In the above example there is no email address shown. How do I remove myself as a recipient?

Sorry, that doesn't help. Hopefully they will update the document soon to clarify.

But like mentioned in my first reply, I think it is by design.

If you want to avoid the e-mail, you could also achieve this via a Power Automate cloud flow.

Happy to help out 🙂

Hi @UOLandrewdale,

Afaik this is by design and you need at least one recipient to sent the e-mail to, it is a required field.

This feature is still to subscribe to your report and getting e-mail notifications about the latest of your report. That's why the field is required.

Only how you are delivering the pdf is just different (instead of it being included as an attachment to the e-mail, it will included as a link to the file on OneDrive in the body of the e-mail).

thanks Dennis @Expiscornovus

the link you shared does not mention the "Send to" option.

I know the feature is in preview, so maybe I need to comment on that somewhere
