request time out when entering azure sql database

Hello all,

I created a parameter for the server and database to switvh between dev and production. After publishing on power BI service, and entering credentials of prod DB, the request timed out since it took more than 120 mins to load. 

What can I do to reduce the database?

You can try to change the command timeout in Advanced options of  Data source settings directly.
