load R .rds file within R visual in PBI service

Hi,

I've built a model using R. I saved it in a .rds file.

On PBI desktop, I can load the .rds file in a visual and then use it to plot a chart.

However, I can't manage to do it in PBI service.

Can you please help?

To clarify: when you say doesn't work in Power BI Service, do you mean you can't build the visual directly inside the service, or that it doesn't show up when you publish the report from the Desktop?

it doesn't show in the R visual. instead i get:

cannot open compressed file 'C:/Program Files/R/R-3.4.3/model.rds', probable reason 'No such file or directory'

i have .csv files stored at: 'C:/Program Files/R/R-3.4.3/' and the service loads them (i have a gateway installed on the machine)

but if i try to load the .csv from the R visual, i get the same error:

cannot open file 'C:/Program Files/R/R-3.4.3/param.csv': No such file or directory

do i need to save the .rds somewhere else?
