does power bi gateway can be used in two independent environment?

Hi experts, I created a power bi gateway use 21Vianet account in a server, since this account works for China region, now I can connect the gateway in 21Vianet workspace in https://app.powerbi.cn/, but how can I connect the same gateway in an international microsoft account in https://app.powerbi.com/ ? Thank you.

Power BI operated by 21Vianet in China is a physically separated environment from the global Power BI service . This means that gateways and data sources configured in the 21Vianet environment are not directly accessible from the global Power BI service.

Thanks, I had set up a gateway in a 21Vianet account, so in order to make the Hongkong account workspace to make success shecudle refresh, I have to create another gateway use the hongkong account? Is it able to work when I set two gateway by independent account on same server?

Hi @oakfootballclub 

Only one gateway can exist on a device, unless one is a standard gateway and one is a personal mode gateway.

Thank you for your reply, does it meas that if I had set one enterprise version gateway in this server for 21Vianet account, I can only set another personal version on the same account for Hongkong account? If personal mode can work for only one user, does it feasible to create multiple personal mode gateway use different account on the same server？

Hi @oakfootballclub 

No, there can only be a maximum of one Personal Mode gateway and one Standard gateway on a device.
