Hi @nagarjunakan, please refer to 400.000 rows (instead of the Indian numbering system 😉).

You say you are having issues with DirectQuery in Power BI. However, there are a few conflicting things you mention in your question:

You say you want to optimize for DirectQuery, but it's taking a long time to refresh data in a scheduled refresh. This is not possible. You can only set scheduled refresh in Import mode. You do have a Scheduled cache refresh with DirectQuery, but you can only set an interval there for the service to cache dashboard tiles for example.

So could you please explain a bit further what your setup exactly is? Maybe add some screenshots to clarify?

Hi, @nagarjunakan

I'd like to suggest you to optimize from the following aspects.

1. Optimize data source performance

2. Optimize model design

3. Optimize report designs

4. Convert to a Composite Model

For further information, you may refer to the article .

Hi @nagarjunakan  If you have tried all optimization technique still facine slowness problem thwn use VM Machine and keep all your reports oepn in browser use auto page refresh extension. Page will refresh automatically and now youse your reports they will load instant  in services.
Thanks
