couldn't find sort option to sort a visualization in Power BI Service report

Hello There,

I am trying to complete a documented steps within MS Power BI Service report documentation; in the steps, I after the fields and value is placed inlcuding the time period, I couldn't find the option to sort the report visual (by Time-period) in Power BI Service. I tried to navigate to find the filter option in the report, but, it is not available; below is the screenshot and link for the doucmentationhttps://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-report-create-new . Would anyone please help me understand the situation.

 I checked it up using Power BI Desktop as well as the Power BI service. It looks like something got changed on either the data type (Period) in the sample file or the rendering engine. I see the same issue as yours - no sort option. However, if I choose Fiscal month, I see the option. perhaps it has something to do with datatype.
