Hello,
i've some pbix in production into powerbi.com.
my next move would be to create SRSS reports that consume the data from the powerbi.com service.
what's the step to consume powerbiservice as a datasource from a local ssrs instance ? same from report builder 2016.
XLS can connect to service through the ODC "analyse in excel" and we can execute queries from xls. so i suppose it's possible
to do the same outside outlook with the right tool. but i cannot manage to do it...
the goal is to avoid seting up a local SSAS that's a replica of the powerbi service model instance of course ...
any help / pointer appreciated
Hi @fbeuserie,
As of now, it is not possible to connect to existing dataset hosted on Power BI Service in a SSRS local report. You could submit this feature request at ideas page.
Regards,
Yuliana Gu
