Hi,
I have made decent amount of reports, where data comes from different sources such as SQL, excel and etc.
And I have set up premesis gateway for every SQL table.
All the reports that I have published are successfull with updating data with scheduele refresh.
Here is what is so confusing for me, in the app.powerbi.com when i open a report most of the reports will retrieve the latest data from the SQL server or Excel source when I click on the refresh button.
But for some reports I need to wait for the scheduele report to trigger to be able to get the latest data.
Questions.
1. How can I get the latest data with just clicking refresh icon on the image above.
2. I would like to have autorefresher to be able to retrieve the latest data and also have the report to be shown in full screen.
I have seen that there is a chrome app that works for Power bi report server, but I don't have this, I would like this to work for app.powerbi.com Does anyone have a solution for this?

Hi,
Once I had some reports that were refreshing correctly when you click the "Refresh" button, but others were not.
I tried a few things that could be causing this. You should make sure that the "Keep your data up to date" setting is turned on for the datasets that are not refreshing correctly. You can get this setting in the "Scheduled Refresh" panel of the dataset.
Or, check to see if the data sources for the reports are using DirectQuery or Import mode. If they are using DirectQuery, then the data will be refreshed automatically whenever you open the report. However, if they are using Import mode, then you will need to click the "Refresh" button to update the data.
And, if you are using a premium capacity, then you may have reached the limit of eight scheduled refreshes per day. In this case, you can try refreshing the data manually or using an autorefresher.
There are a few different autorefreshers available. One option is to use the Power BI Chrome extension. This extension allows you to set up automatic refreshes for reports that are published to the Power BI service.
Another option is to use a third-party autorefresher from someone. In my case I took help from them. There are a number of these available, such as Power BI Auto Refresher and Power BI Data Refresher.
I hope this helps! Feel free to contct me..
I changed to Direct Query and now it works.
